ಸಂಕಷ್ಟದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹೊದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಮೂಡಿಸಿದ ಪೈಲಟ್

ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ 21 ದಿನಗಳ ಲಾಕ್‌ಡೌನ್ ಜಾರಿಗೊಳಿಸಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇಶೀಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಿಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಗಿತಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ತುರ್ತು ಸೇವೆಯ ವಿಮಾನಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸರಕು ವಿಮಾನಗಳು ಮಾತ್ರ ಹಾರಾಟ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿವೆ.

ಭಾರತದ ವಿಮಾನಯಾನ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಸ್ಥಗಿತಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ವಿಮಾನಯಾನ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವು ಮತ್ತೆ ಆರಂಭವಾಗುವುದೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂಬ ಆತಂಕ ಪೈಲಟ್‌ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಮಾನದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟಾಗಿದೆ. ಮತ್ತೆ ಯಾವಾಗ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದಿದ್ದರೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಾಗಬಹುದು ಎಂಬುದು ಅವರ ಚಿಂತೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಇಂತಹ ಕಠಿಣ ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂಡಿಗೊ ವಿಮಾನದ ಪೈಲಟ್ ಪ್ರದೀಪ್ ಕೃಷ್ಣನ್, ಇತರ ಪೈಲಟ್‌ಗಳ ಜೊತೆ ಸೇರಿ ನೌಕರರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನು ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ವೀಡಿಯೋವೊಂದನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಆ ವೀಡಿಯೊದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಮಾನಗಳು ಮತ್ತೆ ಹಾರಾಟ ನಡೆಸಲಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಇತರ ವಿಮಾನ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳ ಉತ್ಸಾಹವನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸಲು ಅವರು ಈ ವೀಡಿಯೊವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಕಠಿಣ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಹ ಸಂಯಮದಿಂದ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಮೂಲಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, 2020-21ರ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ, ಭಾರತದ ವಿಮಾನಯಾನ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು ಸುಮಾರು 5 ಕೋಟಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿವೆ. ಈ ಹಣಕಾಸು ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ, 8-9 ಮಿಲಿಯನ್ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ವಿಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಗಳಿವೆ. 2019ರಲ್ಲಿ 14 ಕೋಟಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ವಿಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಿಮಾನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಭಾರಿ ಕುಸಿತವಾಗಲಿದೆ. 2020ರ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ 3 ಕೋಟಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಿಮಾನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಳೆದ ಹಣಕಾಸು ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ 7 ಕೋಟಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಕರೋನಾ ವೈರಸ್‌ನಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಗಿರುವ ನಷ್ಟದಿಂದ ಹೊರಬರಲು ವಿಮಾನಯಾನ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಲವಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳು ಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತವೆ. ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಇಳಿಕೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಅನೇಕ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳ ವ್ಯವಹಾರವು ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಲುಕುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಗಳಿವೆ.
