Ashok Leyland is a name that suggests huge load carrying trucks plying through India's long highways. But this image is set to change soon. The Indian truck manufacturer which has a joint venture with Japanese vehicle firm Nissan has said it will soon begin building passenger vehicles. These vehicles will be based on the commercial vehicles that are being jointly developed by Ashok Leyland and Nissan.
